Hunter's Holiday Smoked Jerk Turkey

Great Holiday Recipe for your Family & Friends

Difficulty Level: Medium

If you're like more like me, I love traditional holiday meals; however, I must make at least one dish with a twist. If you smoke a Jerk Turkey, your family and friends will probably rave about you for at least the next 10 or so years.

If you want to add additional herbs such fresh thyme and rosemary please do so. The other two simple ingredients you need is the Caribbean Jerk Sauce/Marinade and the Jerk Seasoning for a delicious an exceptional experience!

Prep time: 30 minutes

Marinade time: 24 to 48 hours

Cook time: 6 to 8 minutes minutes

Total time: 2 Days and 8 hours

Servings: 8


-12-18 lb Turkey

-Hunter's Caribbean Jerk Sauce

-Hunter's Jerk Seasoning

-Fresh Thyme

-Fresh Rosemary


-Wash the turkey thoroughly and pat dry.

-Brine your bird for 1 to 2 days using Hunter's Caribbean Jerk Sauce.

-Take out the brine, and season your bird heavily inside and outside the skin (Do not throw away your brine).

-Let the turkey sit for 1 hour

-Before you place your turkey on the grill/smoker, inject the turkey on all sides using your brine of Hunter's Caribbean Jerk Sauce.

-Once you're cooking your delicious Holiday Turkey, inject your meat once more after 3 hours (half way cooked).

-Finish cooking until ready.

-Take the turkey away from heat once all parts reach 170 degrees F.

-Let the turkey rest for at least 30 to 40 minutes.

-Cut and Enjoy!
